EXPLORING RADICAL OPENNESS RETREAT AT PARKDALE AUTUMN 2008 TBA

Theme : The theme will be "Exploring Radical Openness". Yoga practicee will be treated not as an attempt to make ourselves conform to this or that ideal through some kind of asceticism and effort of will, but rather as an opening up to discovering the gifts that we already have and which are very close to us. We will also explore the possibility of taking "Radical Openness" off the Yoga mat and the mediation cushion into our everyday lives.

Dates TBA

Teacher : Pete Yates

Cost : £290 payable in advance.

Programme : There will be a relaxing class on Friday evening. The three full days will each have a couple of practice sessions which will engage body, mind and heart. There will also be extensive discourses and discussions around the retreat theme. There will be a meditative session on Tuesday morning. Though the programme will be quite full, things will unfold in a relaxed, spacious and unhurried way.
